“Silence… Pune is Reading” | 09.12.2025
Our school took part in the citywide Simultaneous Reading Initiative today, an event organised with the aim of creating a Guinness World Record for collective silent reading.
Students and teachers across the campus participated wholeheartedly, contributing to a serene, focused and joyful reading atmosphere.
This remarkable initiative strengthened reading habits and encouraged mindful engagement with books.
Objectives of Bal Sabha:
- To enhance public speaking and communication skills
- To encourage participation in cultural, literary, and value-based activities
- To develop leadership qualities and stage confidence
- To foster creativity, discipline, and teamwork

- The Eco Club aims to create environmental awareness and responsible citizenship among students.
Activities include:
- Tree plantation and cleanliness drives
- Awareness programmes on water conservation and sustainability
- Observation of environmental days and campaigns
Prahari Club
- The Prahari Club aims to develop discipline, safety awareness, civic responsibility, and leadership skills among students. The club also focuses on basic drug education, creating awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting healthy, responsible lifestyle choices.
Activities include:
- Road safety and traffic awareness programmes
- Disaster preparedness and safety drills
- Awareness sessions on drug abuse prevention and personal well-being
- Promotion of alert citizenship and social responsibility
